The last six Norris trophy winners will take the ice tonight when the Stupid Red Wings take on the AWESOME Anaheim Ducks of Anaheim, (not the LA Ducks of Anaheim).  Little Nicky has won four and Mr. Scott Niedermayer and Mr. Chris Pronger have one the award one time each in that span.   Of course, Chris Chelios is a three time winner as well.  So, when the award is passed out this year the four men will have a decade of top defensive awards between them.  I’m blathering on because I can.

Anyway, this is going to be one hell of tilt!   I think the Wings will take the first game just because the Ducks have come off of a long lay off while the Wing nuts just finished a skate early this week.

The Ducks are a tougher team.  With 71 fights in the regular season, the Ducks lead all teams while the Wings are low on the pole with only 10.

It is 7:34 in the morning. I am at my local…errrr…a local Starbucks just hanging out and waiting until my girlfriend wakes up. We are going to go work out before she has to go to work. I have been trying to think of a really good idea for a Web site or blog. I got nothin! Actually, I have a lot but there is nothing that I am so completely enamored with that I absolutely have to do it. Having said that, I have to say that I am not dispassionate about a lot of things. Here are some of the things I like and/or love:

• Hockey (go DUCKS!)
• My children
• My girlfriend
• My mom & dad (all other relatives living or dead)
• Technology (probably more than Kip)
• Learning (I like learning things…random things)
• Clothing
• Cars
• Music
• Movies

I guess my problem is that none of those things are blog-worthy. Ok, I will give it a go. So, if anybody has any questions about any of the above topics, please ask in a comment and I will respond.

Ok, sorry for the absenteeism. I was busy looking for something better to do with my life than work for a mortgage company. Found it. I work from home for an undisclosed company. They are paying me enough to make it interesting so that’s just where I will finish up on that subject.

The Purity Baptist Church fellow, Kenneth Cauthen, agreed to an interview so I will be following up with him soon; I just need to make sure my interview questions do not stink because he is a highly intelligent author of 18 books. As soon as I finish up with the interview I will post it here.
